After school I went to U.B. for a year before they decided it wasn't the right place for me. The first job I had was as a glazier ( glass installer ). The job lasted a few years until I was laid off ten weeks before I was to marry my wife Donna. While looking for I job a got the break I needed when I was hired as an apprentice machinist for Eastman Kodak Company. After our wedding, Donna and I moved to Rochester and started our lives in a new town, a new job and many new friends. We have raised 3 children and made many wonderful friends which will last a lifetime.

In 1975 we built a cottage on Rushford Lake which we still enjoy today. Our children grew up with two sets of friends, Rochester friends and Rushford friends. They loved going to the cottage as much as we do. Now they bring their children to the lake to enjoy the boating, swimming and tubing . In the last few years we have had many of our friends from Kensington HS for picnics.

We spend our retirement watching our grand daughters playing soccer, softball, lacrosse and swimming. All 5 of our granddaughters swim for the Webster,NY Y swim team. One of them has the best times recorded in the state this season in the 25, 50, and 100 yard freestyle. They give us many hours of pleasure.

We've been very fortunate to be able to spend some of our retirement time traveling to the National Parks, the West Coast and a Caribbean cruise with some special friends from Kensington HS. We feel very fortunate to be able to continue our long lasting friendships with these HS friends.

We always look forward to the alumni get togethers seeing those folks that made my life so memorable. We are anxious to see many of our alumni at the reunion and picnic in August. Hopefully many of our acquaintances from Ken will be able to come and join us.

The reunion was everything we had hoped it would be. Saw a lot of old friends. Some I had not seen in 50 years or more. Looking forward to # 55
