After graduation I attended North Carolina State University and majored in Economics and Business. I met my husband Mike at NCSU and we were married in 1983. Our first son was born in 1987 and our second son in 1990. We have lived in South Bend, Indiana, Cortland, Ohio, Canfield, Ohio, and now Burlington. Mike works in Greensboro at Dixie Sales and I have been fortunate to be a stay at home mom for the past 20 years.

I have great memories of riding to school every morning and laughing with the Glenn twins. Cheering for the Bulldogs and going to the football State Championship in the freezing mountains. Fighting for the front seat every day going to Zack's for lunch. Working for coach Hodge and sneaking out to Biscuitville every day. Skipping a class and driving to Greensboro mall for 5 minutes of shopping with Patty Koury and turning around to get back to our next class. Kerrie Long asking me to go swimming at the beach when I was the new kid (thanks Wong).
