Since high school I graduated from Northwestern College with a degree in Elementary Education. Right after college I got married and moved to Denver, CO with my husband Matt, where we lived for 2 years.

I convinced Matt to give the beautiful Skagit Valley a try for a few years and 13 years later we are still here!

I got a job teaching at Bay View Elementary where I taught 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade for 9 years.
For 3 years I gave up the classroom to be a stay-at-home Mom. We have 4 beautiful daughters that keep me very busy. I am currently enjoying the challenge of teaching 7th grade math and 8th grade literature at LU.
