I will never forget being on the JROTC color guard. One year at Camp Bucoco I was hoisting the flag and Brian Stephenson all of a sudden ordered us to Present Arms, and I did...and before I had tied off the flag...so the flag of course came flying back down the flag pole! Oops!
There are a ton of stories from ROTC really.
For the Macy's parade all the girls I roomed with had brought snacks and we set them all on display in our room, it was beautiful.

Another funny moment also dealing with the parade was during a practice in the upper banana lot, there had been announcements to remove vehicles from the lot so we could march through there. Well, someone was not listening and solution was Curt Stupmf and some other boys actually picked up the car and moved it onto the grass median. Who said bandies were wimps?!
