HERE IS A PICTURE OF JANE COULTER WHEN SHE DID SOME MODELING FOR SOME PRINT ADS. WE AFFECTIONATELY CALLED HER GOLDIE GLITTERS! SHE WAS A BRILLIANT WRITER, WAY AHEAD OF THE REST OF US IN MANY WAYS. IT WAS SO SAD TO LOSE HER SO YOUNG.
Ahead of her time is right. At first I watched her at a dance thinking her blue triangle in the back of her hair and her strange dancing was very odd indeed. I don't remember how, but we ended up being friends. She was a funny kind person. Time went on and I'd heard of her passing. I am glad to have known her as she taught me that ever so important book and cover lesson!
I knew Jane when she was still Karen, junior high I guess. She had an incredible mind. I remember an Englsih assignment where we had to memorize a poem. Most of us did as little as possible, including limericks however Karen memorized and recited The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes!! Wow, even the teacher....maybe Mr.Ernst, was blown away. She did a brilliant job, and I can assure you, none of us wanted to follow that performance. A life lost far too soon.

Fiery passtionate poetess.......she was punk before there was ever punk......way ahead of her time!
Tragic ending....but it can be a sad and lonely path when you are one of a kind.
