Linda Cashon Carlile

I've had many careers in between 2 marriages. The jobs were more successful than the marriages. I did go to airline school right out of CHS. Ended up working for the CIA in Arlington, Va for 3 yrs. Then moved back to Canfiled, worked at the FNB and then got married and moved to Columbiana. Live there 13 yrs and went to nursing school when I was 30. Moved to Florida in 1976 and worked as a nurse for afew yrs in the VA system and then ended up going into the quality assurance/medical review side of healthcare and worked for Medicare Fiscal Intermediaries for 22 yrs. Took care of my parents in my home for the last 2 yrs of their lives so that kept me pretty busy. Now it is just me and my dog, Buddy and a cat, Angel, hanging out here in Beautiful sunny Clearwater. I do a lot of dog/cat sitting and baking for people that don't like to cook. I spend fun time with my grandkids and now my great grandson, Nolan. Life is good. Most of the Cashon Clan now live in Florida so we get together to laugh about old times and of course eat. If anyone from the class is heading down this way I would love to have you stop. I might even be able to whip up a dinner and dessert. Sorry I can't make it to the 55th reunion, but I know you will all have a great time. xxxlinda

OMG, where to begin. One thing was the time Tom Phillips and Doc Mogg jamed me into a waste basket and rolled me down the hall during our lunch break. Then they just left me there and believe me it is not easy to get out of a garbage can!! Also, the time Margie Broderick and I got busted by the Chief of Police because we were pushing Hatch Bairds car down the street while he was in the school at basketball practice.
I really enjoyed all of my majorette time with the band. We sure did have a good time and poor Mr Rossi was never sure what we were going to do next.
