Marilyn Myers Murphy

Left this area in August 1965 and went to southern CA and graduated from Herbert Hoover High School on El Cajon Bl, San Diego, CA in 1966. Continued to live there for roughly 12-1/2 yrs. In 1970 I went to NYC for about 4 months. Returned to San Diego. Went to Minnesota for 5 yrs.
In 1983 returned to San Diego for a few months then went to Phoenix, AZ for a year. From there I returned "home" to Ohio to family. Worked at Ohio Edison for over 11 yrs. Am currently retired. Would really like to work again as I miss the interaction with people.
March 2020. I now currently reside in Yuma, Arizona. Have been here over a year now. Summers do get hot, but I'll take the heat of summer any day over the cold and snow in the east. My boys live over near San Diego, CA and I go get to see them often.

Since the class reunion I did find out that others remember a lot more of the school days than I do. I take my hat off to them. Kendra told me I was her "partner" during 6th grade. We were assigned to each other. There were many other stories I heard and I just might have to edit this later. :>}
