I graduated from UofA with a degree in Chemistry and Molecular & Cellular Biology in May 2004. I then moved to Ann Arbor for a couple of years to get an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan. In 2006, I returned to UofA to pursue a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and I hope to be done soon. I work as a chemist at the Arizona Cancer Center and my research involves the development of drugs to treat cancer. At night I teach general and organic chemistry courses at Pima Community College.
