I joined the Marines in August 1988. I was trained in journalism, public relations and marketing. Fifteen years, trips to Kuwait and Egypt, 8 duty stations and the birth of my third child later, my husband and I decided it was time to hang up my hat! December 2002 I became be a full-time Mommy. That was the best "career move" of my life!!!! Now, I stay at home, volunteer at the school, church and love being team mom for their team sports. My oldest graduated from high school this year and has plans to study fashion merchandising. My son has a promising future in tackle football and my youngest is following in my footsteps with her first year as a cheerleader.
