Vicki Shipman Tempeton

I NEVER planned to homeschool, but God planned it for our family, so that is what I have been doing since my oldest child started K in 2003. Before that, I taught pre-school and then Kindergarten before leaving my job to stay home full time just before our daughter was born. We are members of Cornerstone Baptist Church, where my Dad is pastor, and my husband is a deacon. Aside from family, friends, and church, I love following Major League Baseball and trying to make sense of football when I watch it with my husband.

My favorite memories include Mrs Callahan's family living class, spending all of picture day hunting down John Harris, per Mrs Carpenter's orders, selling snacks to the little kids at the elementary school during lunch, and hanging out with Debbie People's in the high school office. It tiook me weeks after graduation to stop answering the phone with "Temple High School, Vicki speaking, how may I help you?" :))
