I saw Camille's name listed in the obituary section of the Maine Township Seniors flyer, Mainestreamers. I was saddened and surprised as I had visited with her at the reunion. She was dressed so attractively and smiling largely as she greeted me with genuine affection. She recognized me right away, and created one of my happy moments at our 50th reunion. Camille was always cheerful, kind, and sweet. Although we have been separated these many years, I will remember her with great fondness.
It was such fun seeing Camille at the reunion. We were partners on the Washington, DC school trip. She hadn't changed a bit. Still the same happy smile - didn't seem to have a care in the world. At least, she didn't suffer. She will be missed.
