Bob Iden

After graduation from Southern Illinois, Bob became owner of Iden Company. He married JoEllen Bond in1966, and they moved to Bloomingdale, IL in 1968. There Bob became involved in civic activities. He has been active in Village politics since 1979 and has served as Mayor of Bloomingdale since November 1992.

He and JoEllen have two married daughters. Betsy and John Valentine have two boys, Christopher and Derrick; Katie and Chris Malizio have a daughter, Isabella.

Bob is the Chairman of the DuPage County Regional Planning Commission and is president of the DuPage Mayors & Managers Conference.

He retired from Iden Company in 1996 and enjoys golfing and traveling.
