I look forward to attending our reunion very much. It is a measure of how times have changed that we are registering by email and website! and some of us aren't that good at it. God bless Dick Haldeman and the others who have worked so hard to get us all together!
After graduation, I attended Grinnell College, where I majored in history. After graduation (1964) I studied political science at The University of Heidelberg in Germany for a year and then entered The University of Chicago Law School. After graduation (1968) my first big job was as a research assistant at The Sixth Illinois Constitutional Convention. When the constitution was adopted, I became a staffer for the Illinois House of Representatives (1971-1975), including two years as Parliamentarian of the House.
I joined the John Marshall Law School faculty in 1975 and have been here ever since. Have also held some part-time governmental appointments, been active in bar association, civic, and charitable work, etc.
I used to travel a lot (40 countries), but my legs can't take that anymore. My book on the Illinois constitution was just published. I spend most of my free time with friends and family (now just my sister Leona and her family) and attending events in Chicago.
