Steven A. Ainley - (1951 - 1997) was born on July 30, 1951.   He died on November 20, 1997 at 46 years of age.

Steven A. Ainley, 46, of McHenry, who worked for the village of Palatine for 20 years, died Thursday. He grew up in Chicago and graduated from Lutheran North High School. Mr. Ainley served in the Air Force in the Vietnam War. Since 1977, he worked for the village of Palatine, where he was supervisor of the Streets Department. An avid hunter, Mr. Ainley belonged to Ducks Unlimited, a hunting organization. He and his wife, Robin, raised and sold hunting dogs. He also is survived by a daughter, Jessica; his father, Albert; and a sister. Visitation will be from noon to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Querhammer Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. (Illinois Highway 176), Crystal Lake. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
