Doug Aguillard

Joined the Marines for many years...Presidential Guard for President Reagan, Got involved in Pro Hockey in the 1990's, won a National Championship in 94, worked as Pro Service Rep for Louisville Hockey serving the NHL and the minor leagues, and was Equipment Host on Hockey Player Magazine on ESPN2 in 95. Worked for the San Diego Barracudas (RHI) in the 90's.

Married Lourdes Diaz from Mar Vista HS in 1989, had two great boys, who both graduated from Hilltop HS. Happily Divorced Lourdes in 1999. Worked in Grocery and Retail Loss Prevention from 1998 to 2007. Became a Freelance Photographer doing mostly Nature and Surf Photography from 1994 to 2011. Became Freelance Photojournalist specializing in Military, Aviation, and Motorsports. Very fortunate to have been and continue to be published in Magazines, Newspapers, and other publications world-wide. Since 2014, have now started to do breaking news stories (videos) for all of the San Diego & Los Angeles News channels, all major national media outlets and some Television shows.

Mostly fond memories of my fellow classmates, and most teachers. Learned the most from Mr. Rice, Mr. Smith, Mr. Jones, and especially Mr. Canaris, who taught me photography and never knowing how much it would affect my life so much. Spent most of my senior year working and dating Cora Lynn Goyette from Marian HS, so was a little out of touch my Senior year with the rest of the Class. As we get older, we tend to forgive and forget a lot of the bad things that happen during those years at Hilltop. I am thankful for Facebook now, with so many years later that we can stay in touch with so many of my former classmates.
