Here's a copy of an announcement that Bob Permut asked us to post. It seems as though he and his wife Marcia have a small ownership in a horse that is doing very well this year and has a chance to be in the Kentucky Derby! I'll let his own words tell the tale:

"One thing that I probably did not discuss at the reunion with my classmates was Marcia's and my involvement in the last 2 years as miniscule (5%)owners in thoroughbred race horses (4 of them now, soon to be 5). Well, one of those is a 3 year old who won the Tampa Bay Derby on March 8 and earned enough points to qualify for the Kentucky Derby! He will continue training up to his next race, the Calder Derby on April 5, and if runs well there and he stays healthy, continues to mature, and improve in his training look for us rooting for Ring Week-End May 3!!"

Everyone's favorite Spanish teacher, Peter "Pedro" Stites, died on October 16th at the age of 86. For those of you who remember Senor Stites fondly, click here to link to his obituary.

It's all over but the shouting, and we hope that a good time was had by all! The reunion was a resounding success, and we thank you all so much for your appreciation and for sharing in the party! We have started posting pictures of the festivities on a new 50th Reunion photo gallery and will continue to add more pictures and videos in the future. If you have pictures that you want to display, go to the Photo Galleries tab and under Community Photo Gallery, create your own gallery of pictures.
