Letter from Kjersti Bowman

Julie wrote letters to our AFS students, Kjersti Bohman and Jean Ramelet, encouraging them to join us for the reunion, and although we still have not located Jean, Kjersti's letter reached the right destination, and here is the response Julie just got....we thought we'd let you all have a read.

Hi Julie

Thank you for your letters and the kind invitation.I was thrilled by the thought of seeing you all again.I had very serious plans to visit Cincinnati, but being a procrastinator it wasn´t easy.I retired from my work as a child neurologist when I turned 67.Right now I´m very busy trying to sort out what has been hidden in closets and drawers for a lifetime.I´m also trying to find myself another place to dwell. All this sort of occupies me.As I´m writing this-sadness comes upon me.I do wish I had had the strength to arrange the trip to you all and the reunion.

I do remember you very well,Julie.I can see you for my inner sight-those lively ¨"squirrel "eyes and, as you wrote, short stature.Now-I shall try to join the website you suggested.Hopefully you or somebody else might have time to check it.If not in time for the party, sometime afterwards. My youngest son recently put skype into my I phone, but Ican´t use it on my own.

Bye now Julie-lots of love to you and the others of The Class of ´63.
                                             Kjersti B
