Gordon Brokaw Starr

Ventured far and wide.Lived in Vermont, then Hawaii, now California since 1980.Three marriges, two with children, the last for 32 years.I explored various life styles including artist, musician, computer sales, body work and healing, extended spiritual practice, growing pot, business owner and employer.Primarily I have been in the building trades and raising a family with a strong spiritual focus over all. I have been retired for the last 10 years but continue to enjoy working. I still play guitar and sing with Mary who plays banjo. I am also very involved in my Friends (Quaker) Meeting.

While in graduation rehearsals I was called to the office and informed that, since I had been such a poor student and failed so many classes, I didn't have enough credits to graduate and would have to return next year to fulfill graduation requirements. It was the first I had heard. So, while '63 in "my graduation class", I didn't actually graduate until '64 - which, as you can imagine, has really confused several class committees.
