So sorry to hear of the passing of Howie. We were starting guards for the basketball team our junior & senior years. Our coach, Sid Freeman , named us the "Turn-Over Twins. Howie was apple & I was peach.
I always wondered what happen to Howard I thought he was a air traffic contrroler.See you at reunion. I remember Larry Kahn always had a half court game in his backyard. I was not a baasketball player and Larry always beat me to a point of depression and dispair.Hodesh. How about Charles Barnes Roselawn's secret weapon.
Good too see you here. I ran into Howie in an Eckerd Pharmacy, when we both lived in Miami Lakes, FL in the 70's. He was an Air Traffic Controller and seemed quite happy and healthy. Actually still looked the same as when we were in HS. We really didn't get to chat much at that time and now wish we would both have not been in a hurry, as I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Hope you and your family are well.
Goody and I were good school friends that managed to get in trouble together. In Junior High School our home room teacher whose name escapes me kicked us out of class permanently. We were assigned to Mr. Wingard's office as our home room. So, when we picked up our report cards we would go to the principals office, pick up our report cards and leave school immediately and go across the street and enjoy a slice of pizza while everyone else had to stay in home room till class was dismissed.
In High School we tried out for Choir and we made it. Miss Will, the Elvis Presley hater, was our music teacher. Goody and I weren't paying attention in class and she caught us and told us if we didn't behave she would kick us out of Choir. We looked at each other and burst out laughing. She followed through and we were out of Choir. Disappointed.......NOT!!!!

Also, sorry to learn the passing of Howie.
I thought you two were a talented tandem at guards
notwithstanding what Sid Freeman called you.
