Growing up two streets from each other in Golf Manor, Harvey and I spent a lot of time together. We met when we were about 11and became good friends until we graduated Woodward. He was very kind and laid back; he will be missed!

Harvey and I became buddies in the seventh grade at Shroder Junior High School. We played the same position at Shroder and Harvey was a pretty fast runner, so we were competitive. Harvey, Mel Schlueter and I formed a trio of buddies. He amazed Mel and I because he started driving a car in his sophomore year. He was one of my favorites from 7 through 12 and I've thought about him plenty over the years. Mel and I were talking about a year ago and we both had good memories of Harvey and wondered what became of him. We both recalled he was always working hard in his family's window business. R.I.P. Harvey.
