I attended Cedarville University near Dayton, Ohio, and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education (I felt obligated since you all voted me "most musical"...haha). I was able to find a GREAT teaching job in a large Dayton suburb called Centerville, where I teach 2nd-5th grade music and 4th/5th grade orchestra.

In 2006, I met and married my husband, Craig, who is a commercial painter. I also got a stepdaughter out of the deal, so I have been able to experience part-time parenting before trying the real thing. :-) I moved to Farmersville, Ohio (yes, really, Farmersville) and since 2006 we have completely gutted & remodeled a house and I just completed my Master's degree in education.

I am looking forward to hearing what everyone else is up to. It's been fun to catch up with a few on Facebook.

School Story

Most of my high school life revolved around music stuff (chorus, musicals, orchestra, etc), but I also remember that I never did very well in the classes I had with Celia Sucheski because we pretty much laughed through every class. And it was just our luck that "Sue" became the principal our senior year, totally killing senior skip day for us, however, it ended up being a really fun day. I remember being absolutely terrified on Squash the Frosh day, the horrible stench of cigarette smoke on the shuttle bus, sticking notes in my friends' lockers, getting my one and only detention for forging a note to skip gym, giving Mrs. Boyle a 50th b-day party (just to get an easy day of class), Mr. Kovall's crazy antics in chemistry.....etc etc etc.
