In Memory

Joyce Seid (Seid)

I just heard Rick Danko on the radio, which made me remember a night that Joyce and I went to the Front Row Theater after "The Band" performed. We waited for them at the stage door entrance, to convince them to appear on "Morning Exchange" the next morning. Our persuasion (and Joyce's charm) was convincing -- they did a great show on MX.  Joyce was a terrific companion at work, a loyal aerobics partner (we always had pizza afterwards), and a warm, wonderful, intelligent friend.  I still miss her

When my family moved in 6th grade, Joyce was one of the first people at Belvoir to befriend me. I remember going to her home on Milton so often & visiting with her family. When I think of Joyce a smile comes to my face.  I believe when we are taken so young, that your work here is done. Joyce you must have been very special to have been finished with your mission here.  Rest in peace dear Joyce

Joyce and I lived on the same street when we were very little girls, before we both moved to University Heights.  She was the first friend I ever had a sleepover with, at her house.  I think I was about 5.  But I didn't last all night.. I got scared at about midnight and called my dad to come and pick me up and bring me home.  That is a cherished memory i will never forget.  She was part of my childhood.  Rest in peace, Joyce.
