What did you do right after high school?
Attended Marshall University and received a degree in Business Education. My first teaching experience was at Huntington High School filling in for a teacher who retired. I worked there about 5 months. What a drive! In 1996, I started my first teaching job at Collins Career Center as we know it the vocational school. I loved it there and enjoyed the junior and seniors I taught. In January 2002, they layed me off and Lauren was born in April. I was a stay-at-home mom until Lauren started Kindergarten. That was my first "real" job. That was harder than teaching! I loved it though spending time while Garrett and Lauren was young. I now work for my dad at the garage, Harmon Motor Sales, in the office doing what I taught. I enjoy every day working with my dad and brother. They still don't realize I am now the CEO of our business. ha ha
