Billy was such a very special guy. I remember when my mom passed. Billy had his restaurant and sent over enough fried chicken to feed any army. Our moms were friends. He will be sadly missed.
Praying especially today for Billy’s wife, Brenda, his daughter, and granddaughter. He experienced many health challenges over the years and Brenda has cared for him so faithfully. He was such a good friend. He will be missed by all who knew him, and especially our class.
My last conversation of length and substance was a noon meal during one of my trips home to spend some time with my mother. I bumped into Billy at a restaurant and he invited me to join him. We had one of our best conversations, looking back over the years, remembering. We talked a long while. Today, I am mindful of him and that conversation in particular.
