Ken was my lab partner in Chemisry. I hated fooling with the chemicals and he hated writing up the experiments so we made a good team.
I'll always remember my Dad telling me that one night when Ken was running for City Attorney, he knocked on my parent's front door to do a little "politicking". When he realized where he was, my Dad said that he couldn't get rid of him for talking about how I had saved his life in Chemistry.
I also remember the last time I saw Ken was at Vic's house in Jackson. We were having a "Columbia Reunion" up here and Ken had insisted on an invite even though he didn't live up here. We were of course very glad to see him. There was a N.O. Saints ballgame on TV that night and a group of us were watching the game and Ken & I were talking about flying. He had recently bought his plane and was so proud. I was flying gliders (Sailplanes) at the time, so we had a lot to share with our love of flying. It was not long after that when he and his family lost their lives in the plane crash. Probalby the saddest funeral I have ever attended.

I think of Ken often. I was in the band with him, when he was younger but never got to know him until our senior year playing football. He played guard next to me on offense. One game we kept having big pile-ups.

We seem to always be piled-up on top of each other. We Had a big laugh over it. He seemed to be a real down to earth high school kid. He was like that later after college. I had a lot of respect for him that was developed from our playing football. Steven Warren

Ken was my dear friend!  We lived close by and we would go to Cooks and get a hamburger whenever Dad would let me go.  We had some MARVELOUS CLASSMATES!  Eva Carolyn Aultman Hart
