I went to USC after high school until 93 and had no idea of what to do with my life so I left. Met my husband, Luke, in 94 in Asheville, NC. He was the owner of the espresso stand I worked at :) We got married in 96. In 98 we joined an organization called Youth With A Mission in Hawaii. We have been with them ever since. We train young people (and older) to 'know God and make Him known' . We do a lot of things focused on injustice and reconciliation between people groups.They have University courses but the classes are all with a Biblical foundation. I worked with the Counseling schools for several years before I became a mom.
Adopted my daughter in 2007 after 2 years of process. That has completely changed my life. She is a TOTAL extrovert, which I am not. So, my ways have been changing. We travel a lot with our organization. We just took 10 students through the Balkans to Amsterdam following a human trafficking route.
Right now we are Switzerland while my husband teaches on worldview and human rights issues.
