When graduation was over, started CSU,Chico, loved the time I was there (would do it again if I could) and graduated with a BA in Social Work and minor in Chicano Studies. Met my husband there and have been married to "lucky guy" for 14 years in June. Was a stay at home mom til my younger daughter was 2, then began working at current non-profit agency that I work for now. Louie works for a waste plant company as an Auxillary Operator. My 3 beautiful babies mean everything in the world to me and relationship that I have with my step-daughter is pretty good. While my husband & I haven't traveled to other parts of the world, I am VERY proud to mention that we were fortunate enough to send my then 12-year old daughter Celia to Italy & Greece for three weeks last June through an academic excellence program that she was nominated and interviewed for, WITHOUT either of us on trip!! I was scared SHITLESS to let her go, but it is an invaluable life opportunity that not many get and she will remember. She continues to be an Honor Roll student in 7th grade, as is my younger daughter Marelia who is currently in 5th grade. My son, Louie, is in 2nd grade and is also doing very well. I keep myself busy with their sports, practices and working an hour away from where I live.
