Wow...twenty years, huh? Hard to believe, really. Would love to catch up with everyone - keep us posted on reunion info!
I'm the luckiest girl in the world! The old saying about God looking out for children and fools must be true: I have an amazing husband, a beautiful, compassionate intelligent and talented daughter and a stepson I love like my own - he's graduating and joining the Marines next year (yes, I am terrified... but proud, too)! I have my horses, my dogs and my health.
My brother and I are in the early stages of developing a hunting and working guest ranch to be located in north central Arkansas; breeding and training Quarter Horses and Kiger Mustangs for show and for sale - I have a gorgeous filly out of champion sire and dam coming in from Washington in September, in fact...
I've taken the long way home these years: I spent several years working for a law firm in Little Rock as a Team Leader in creditor representation bankruptcy and foreclosure - hated it, but was really good at what I did. Moved on to Conway Title & Escrow Services as Final Title Department Manager (helping put people INTO homes, rather than forcing them out of them...) for a couple of years - liked that better, was good at that too, but still wasn't my calling.
I'm now a licensed Realtor with a solid reputation, a published writer, and I'm the new manager of Pet Country in Conway - I LOVE animals and now, for maybe the first time in fifteen years (outside of writing), I love going to work every day; I've done anything and everything I want to do, even as I discover new avenues to explore... Life's been good to me so far!
Hope everyone's doing well.
