Initially I took a position in Lubbock, TX. with a small chain called Prescription Labs. One year later moved to a position with Baker Pharmacies in Arlington, TX. Two years later joined UT graduate Alan W. Hamm with Town and Country Drugs, Ft. Worth, TX. Became a partner in the business. We had a small chain of pharmacies (14) all in Tarrant County, which we sold to Eckerd Drug (a national chain) in 1992. At that time we had also started a small company that Eckerd did not purchase. It was United Provider Services a PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management company). Alan and I grew this company until 2001 when we sold it to CVS / Pharmacare. CVS / Pharmacare has now purchased Caremark and has become the largest PBM in the USA.

Found and married Jane Nichols of Ft. Worth, TX in May of 67. She is the daughter of a pharmacist. Jane and I celebrated 42 years of marriage this May 09. Shows she has a great deal of patience. Jane was attending UTA when we met. She graduated with a BS degree in Medical Technology and worked for All Saints Hospital in one way or another for a number of years.

We have two daughters Cynthia and Elisa.
We have three natural grand kids, Matthew 17, Melanie 13, and Chandler 10. We also have two by acquisition. They are Julio 17 and Gabriel 16.

Jane and I have been members of Ridglea Country Club in West Ft. Worth since 1971. We attend the church from Jane's youth, Birchman Baptist Church, Ft. Worth.

In 1994 we moved to Eagle Mountain Lake in Azle, TX, waterfront lot. We built our retirement home. After moving to the lake and purchasing a boat and three SeaDoos (personal watercraft) we have had little difficulty getting family and the grandkids to visit.

Jane and I have enjoyed travel and have been fortuante enough to have made a number of trips to Europe, Asia, Africa and South America in addition to our neighboring countries. We have time share in Hawaii on the Big Island and enjoy going with friends to the 50th state.

I very much enjoy golf and presently maintain a 7 handicap. This is after double knee replacement in Jan 09.

Attended DelMar for 1 year. Transferred into University of Texas College of Pharmacy fall of 60. Graduated from UT College of Pharmacy with BS degree Jan 65.

Really fun. I am not particularly an environmentalist but this EV is a lot of fun.

So regret the passing of Coke Wilson. He was a good friend. I was fortunate to get to see him again in recent years at the reunions. He will be missed. Love, blessing, concern and prayers for the family and friends.
