Well, life has been a whirlwind, truly. (And, truly God is good!) Hope you all are doing well. (And for those we've lost along the way, may they be rejoicing at the foot of our Lord!)
Oh my! Among them(!)... I remember once after work when I was a junior (sec#2), I think... I was out with my banker colleagues drinking at a club and I remembered "Oh crap, I've got to audition for the play at school!" (Remember "Bring Back Birdie"?) So, unable to drive, a few of the guys road down to Patterson with me. There, in front of Mrs. Thompson and Mr. Oliver, I barfed all over the floor after auditioning (very drunkedly)to "(I want) Muscle" by Diana Ross!!!!!!! After, some of you 'friends' (lol) said I did really well... ... Liars!!! :) lol (...Thank God for His Deliverance!)
Does anyone remember in 9th grade, at Stivers, in class in one of the basement (dungeon) classrooms, a little mouse came out of a little hole and was wondering about? The entire class was panicky, and someone picked up the chair and killed the poor little thing? Well, I don't know who that someone was, but I wanted to let him know that I cried that day! (hahaha) Because, I felt the mouse lived in that hole somewhere, and we were only in that room for 45 minutes, a couple times per week. We were on its turf... Its no wonder that as an adult, I am a member of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)?
No videos on YouTube but I did play in the movie "Rage in Harlem?" I think some others from our class did as well. Bill Duke personally placed me in a scene with Gregory Hines, Forest Whitaker, Reynaldo Rey and Willard Pugh (Harpo). I had a cool line! lol (I believe that's the only public record of my ever having been a size 4!) Behind the cameras, got into a real argument with Robin Givens, too. lol
