Hello!

Ok the count down has began. I am sure everyone is going through their check lists while packing for this weekend. There will be additional information posted soon but a couple of quick items to keep in mind:

-Essentials Package was voted in favor of which means that the basic foods will be provided. Please let me or Julie know if you have any dietary restriction (milk, gluten etc). More information to follow.

-We should have plenty of beach towels to cover everyone but if they fit in your suitcase feel free to bring a couple.

-A large selection of sunscreen will be available

-Each family will be responsible for a dinner for the group one night during the trip. Start thinking about what that meal might include and free feel to post so that we don't have 5 nights of hot dogs (not that the kids wouldn't love that). The night assignments will follow. Murphy and Gulash you are together on the meal.

-Arrival Day everyone will be on their own though we might just order pizza etc... to make things easier.

-When you arrive your room will be designated so no need to print the floor plan :).

-Michiganders will be bringing coolers to keep beverage supplies available.

You will have a time to have photos done of your individual family if you would like.

The Currier clan will be doing an Italian night. It will include mostacolli, salad, and garlic bread.  We will also hope our fishing group gets some catches to include fish that evening.

Great Molly! I know Julie was trying to work Grandma Mary's Cheesy Potatoes in somehow during the week. My mom offered to make them the Peggs/Cruz night. Yum.

Thank you Emily for the update!  I wasn't notified when one was posted (corrected now :)   Joe should be getting the chemo sometime this week, and we are counting on he and the girls still making the trip.   I'll talk with Marti and Alexis  regarding the menu for our dinner night.

I hope everything goes smoothly. We will be thinking about him.

Mom, why will you only talk to Marti and Alexis about the dinner?? What am I, chopped liver??? Jeeeez :)

Em, is there an ipod adaptor at the house? I have a bose speaker that I could probably fit in my suitcase...

I am not sure Liz. I know we are bringing our I-pods but I am sure about adaptors. Honestly I know nothing about them :O). Vinny handles that in our house. I will ask Julie when I see her.

 Liz - NO!  I can't stand liver and I do love you :)   Thinking about food and cooking was stressing me out.   'whoops' !!  To make it up to you, you can cook whatever we decide on :)

There is a grill. I know we are planning on using it for our night.

The Peggs/Cruz Clan will be doing Pork Tenderloin. I am not sure of the sides etc....

Looks like there is an amazing Farmers Market in Holland on Weds from 7am-1pm. I think we will try and head there for an outing. It's about an hour drive. Just wanted to trow it out there.

I can supply whatever Ipod/Computer stuff needed.  Just let me know what we need and Im sure I have it somewhere.  The only caveat is people will need to hear what I listen too :)
