Susan Hornish Hurtt

Frank and I have been married for 49 years. Next year we will cellebrate our 50th by taking our family to Mexico. There will be 15 of us. We have 4 grand children. After graduation I went to Toledo to be a Beautition and Frank went to Defiance College. He graduated in 1967 from Defiance with a bachelor's degree. I did hair for about 2 years and had a couple of kids then I had trouble with my hands breaking out from the perm solution. Then I had 2 more kids and worked at Kroger for 18 years. I started my own decorating business in 1984 and did that for about 20 years. When I got Breast Cancer in 2005, I quit my business and now I am a Breast Cancer survivor for 5 years. We sold our country home and live in Defiance in a condo. I love it! We keep busy with the kids and grandchildren, and also do a lot of traveling. Frank does a lot of golfing and I read, knit, crochet, and I take care of my 93 year old aunt. I also do some volunteering.

I have lots of funny memories and not so funny. We had lots of fun at the many sleepovers we had. We had one (a sleepover)in an old barn my dad owned with lots of furry animals, (mice) Do any of you remember that?
