RE: MOTORCYCLES (what else ???)

My son is on the 1982 Honda ATC 3-Wheeler. It's a 250cc 2-stroke off road cycle.

My grandson, Wyatt, is on the 4-Wheeler.

The 3-wheeler really "winds up" in a hurry.  All manufacturers' stopped making them in the middle to late 80's because of roll-over crashes.  I know from experience that this cycle takes quite a bit of riding experience for tight cornering. Doesn't take much to lift a drive tire off the ground. Most riders use their weight to corner or try to break one of the tires loose and slide the cycle around corners.

At my age, I need to stay off that killer!!!!!!!!!!!

That was close Faye, its name was The Yankee Motorcycle Club. Now can you answer the second part of the question, where was their club house located?

While I think it's great that Richard and Faye are into this trivia, I have no clue about motorcycle related stuff back in the 60's.  Heck my Mommy would never let me ride a motorcycle.  Got my first one when I was 53 years old.  (My wife, Dixie, is much more liberal then my Mom :-)

BTW ... Dixie and I just now arrived back home from viviting our son Mike and his two rug rats, Alex (5) and Lucy (7) down in Indianapolis.  Rain chased us all the way home, but we only got slightly damp.  Great day !!!

Scroll down for a picture of Dixie and me in our rain gear ....

Did not see the picture of you and Dixie with your rain gear. Your family pictures are really neat. I especially like the picture of your bike with the yellow trees in the background. Richard and I have a book Days Past , A Pictorial History of Defiance , Ohio published by The Cresent news. There is a picture of the 1920's motorcycle  club. Don't know where Rich got his info about the club's name.

Richard...I'm guessing the place the motorcycle club met was downtown at a place called the O K Lunch Room. The  old building the guys are parked in front of has an old canvas awning with the words O K Lunch Room at the top. Sounds good to me. Kinda like Russ Hill, John Leaman , Bob Stephens and Bob Schaffer hangin' out at Maags...minus the cycles!!

It was not located in town. It was located west of town in one of the county's townships. A nice rural setting, allots of room for their meetings and parties. One last clue it was a brick building.
