I entered military service upon graduating High School and have been to many places around the world. Although, technically a Desert Storm/ Desert Sheild veteran, I am not a combat veteran for that war since I was still in language training at the time.

- Fort Stewart, Georgia Feb 92 - Dec 95 - Communications Analyst (includes multiple training exercises at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California and joint U.S. and Egyptian training near Cairo, Egypt)

- Field Station Augsburg, Germany Jan 96 - Aug 98 - helped draw down the base (picked up a little German)

- Darmstadt, Germany Aug 98 - Oct 01 - includes a deployment to Sarajevo, Bosnia (worked directly for the Commander of SFOR)

- Fort Gordon, Georgia Nov 01 - Feb 05 - worked on National Level issues in Afghanistan

- Fort Stewart, Georgia (second tour) Feb 05 - Jun 09 - includes two deployments to Central Iraq and an attendance to a Non-Commissioned Officer's course at Fort Huachuca, Arizona

- Currently I am working at Amazon while going to school full time. I already have received an Associates of Applied Science for Game and Simulation Design, and am working on an Associates of Arts. I am living in Fort Worth, Texas.

I am on my second marriage; I met both women while stationed at Fort Gordon. The first marriage was a mistake that I wish not to discuss. I married my second wife (after dating a year) in Fort Worth, Texas taking her then three year old son as my own. I do not look at my son as being a stepchild and am very proud of how smart an mature he is for his age. My daughter was born three months before our wedding in Fort Worth as well. She is also very smart for her age. My youngest son is a climber add loves to help others, his favorite thing right now is Spiderman.

I have received an award and special recognition for aiding in the detainment leading to arrest of a drunk driver (also while at Fort Gordon). I don't feel an award was necessary, but received it anyway. I only did what I thought any other responsible person should have done. Besides, all I could think of was "what if my family had been coming the other way".

I have served as a shift supervisor, team leader, Squad Leader, and Platoon Sergeant as well as performing my duties as an intelligence analyst.

The funniest story that I can remember was from Mrs. Faidley's Sophomore Speech Class. McCeil King covered her mouth and said "Excuse me, Mrs. Faidley? Excuse me." She sounded just like the Secretary calling from the office over the P.A. Mrs. Faidley spent they next few minutes replying, "Yes... yes.... yes" then pushed the call button and asked "Did you call me?" She was shocked when the answer was "No" while the entire class broke out in laughter.
