Andre Pineda

Graduated from the University of Illinois in 1987 and from So. Illinois University School of Law in 1990. I moved to the Washington, DC area after graduation and worked for HUD and the Federal Election Commission for about 12 years. Got Married in 1994 to a wonderful woman, Carol Kando. In 2002, I decided to make a career change and left my job to become a financial advisor. Since 2002, my life has been kind of crazy. My daughter, Sophia, was born in 2003 with half a heart and down syndrome. Thankfully, she is doing great but that is after multiple surgeries and Dr. appointments. During this time, I was a stay-at-home dad for about 18 months taking care of her and another friend's child. It has been a challenge (I also have a 12 year old son) but they have been real blessings in our lives. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!
