Where do I begin? Got married 1985 to the wrong man (love is blind- ha!), but enjoyed moving around the country from Monterrey, Calif., Fayetteville, N.C., San Angelo and San Antonio then back to Dumas in 1992.
I became a mother in 1987 to an incredible angel whom I lost way too soon.
I married the real deal in 2002 and discovered a whole new world.
In the 25+ years since grad, I've come a long way, learned many things and believe I'm better for all of it.
I was a writer/editor for a time at the local paper, then came back for round two years later as the graphic design artist for the same rag!
I am a stay-at-home mother now and loving it!

I am also JeJe to 6 grandbabies (by hubby's 3 kids)

I enjoyed my high school experience at Dumas High, but know realize that I missed out on so much by settling for Mr. Wrong. My senior year was graced by one special friend who made my life at DHS especially memorable to say the least! I must admit that the memories of finishing my senior year at Pacific Grove High School in Pacific Grove (Monterrey) Calif. rank at the top. I met some interesting people, skipped a lot of school (being married had perks) and I discovered a love for wine coolers! It was then I learned that Dumas was really, really behind the fashion curve and was so lacking in fun.
Nothing can beat spending time at Carmel River Beach when Clint Eastwood was mayor of Carmel.
I'm living a twisted version of "Peggy Sue Got Married", but with a more promising outcome! I should have lived more, expected more, commanded more and settled less! Maybe my friend quiver would have also changed.
