I married Lorraine (Nowak) 44 years ago. We have two sons (Kevin and Christopher), a daughter (Sandra), three grandsons and three granddaughters.
I graduated from Purdue University with a BS degree in Biological Sciences. I served in the US Army at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research where I helped in nutritional research on Trivalent Chromium.
After military service, I began my career as a research biologist and designed and implemented experiments to determine the effect of induced electrostatic fields on plant growth.
In 1970, I joined an environmental consulting firm where I was responsible for corporate quality assurance and project management.
In 1983, I accepted a position with CMS Energy Company in Michigan and served as their corporate enviornmental, health and safety audit manager until I retired in June 2008.
I enjoy running, gardening and being a grandpa.
I also believe the keys to happiness in this uncertain world are faith in God, a loving family, and good friends, including all my 1960 high school classmates.
