Comments:

I spent 2 years with the Ill. Central railroad in East St. Louis Ill.
I was hired by Union Electric In 1961 in St. Louis Mo. as a loborer on to the Overhead Dept. on a linecrew for a year then to Keokuk Iowa as an apprentice lineman. Raised my family in Hamilton Ill. and transfered to Hannibal Mo. as a troublman. in 1976. I have since retired and opened my own business for the last 23 years in the historic district of Downtown Hannibal Mo. I spent many days as a youth at the Cahokia Mounds now I have the Native American Trading Co. . What a great retirement.

School Story:

One School story I remember.
When in the 9th Grade at Landsdown Jr. High
I was in choir. We sang at different places with our teacher Miss Schein .
She took a contingent of us to Hannibal Mo. to sing at the Mark Twain Hotel for the Business and Professional Womens Org. I had never been to Hannibal before.
I now live in Hannibal and work 1 block from the Mark Twain Hotel and retirement home.
By the way the Business and Prof. Womens Org. is still funtioning.

I talked with Adele at the class reunion and had conversed with her on E-mail a few times.

We were in Chorus together at Landsdown Jr. High. I thought she was the greatest and one of the nicest persons I have known.

I just found out of her passing and , What a shock. A great loss . I was privelaged to know her.
