In Memory

David Legros (Legros)

Bruce, wanted to share that Davr LeGros is in hospice in Florida + death is imminent! Our kids went last Sunday + spent time w him + helped get him into Hospice after several mos treatment for Bladder Cancer. I have no details but they don't share them w me. Not sure what happens after they get the call but Sean is home today after their saying goodbyes when he was coherent. Don't know what the plan is for a funeral or celebration as he lived 14+ yrs in Florida + no other relatives in MN other than Sean. When I learn of his passing, I will let you know. Sean is in N Mpls on Polk St + Lindsay is in Philly. Just wanted to share. It may just be a family celebration w burial. We will see when Sean shares more.

Thank you to Mike Quinn and Maria Hansen LeGros for all their love, support and being our rock through all of this. Xoxo

Hi Friends-It's never fun to share this type of news, but we are lucky that David LeGros was our Dad. It is with a heavy heart we Marty Boerner LeGros Sean David LeGros and I share that our dad, Big Dave has passed away. He battled cancer for the last two years bravely. He passed with sound mind and peacefully with Marty by his side. He’s lived a full life and we are grateful to everyone in his life. We are especially grateful to Marty, for her constant love and support of our Dad, and being his rock over the last few decades. Our dad has always been supportive, funny, loving and kind. He loved us dearly and was super proud of his kids (we know 😊). He was a coach, father, but most importantly our best friend. Always the life of the party! He was humble in nature and taught us to work hard/play hard - we did/we do! 😉 We were able to spend time with him and share how much we love him-he went peacefully and is no longer in pain. We are confident he is sitting with Ryan (oldest son), his parents, sister Lynn, Joyce/Shane, our other friends and loved ones and smiling upon us. We love him and miss him dearly! We will be holding a private celebration of life with our family in his honor. Please cheers to Big Dave and a great life lived! Xoxoxo

P.S A 30 second phone call is never not important. Saying, "I Love You" is never meaningless
