School Story
Just like most of us, loved high school, hated losing friends in the middle of the year and never hearing from them again. Exciting times being a majorette, head my senior year. Will never forget Wardell trying to hand me the fire baton, he was super tall, I was short and he held it way over his head, I could have used a step stool.
We returned to Edwards several years ago when Mike was added to the Sports Hall of Fame. You just can't go back! So much has changed, no scorpionettes. We visited a class being held in the old home economics room. They no longer have that elective and they had trouble trying to figure out what the room was used for with the strange alcoves which no longer contained stoves, sinks etc. We found our old homes, but the most exciting change was a new area where enlisted and officers lived enter mingled.
