Cheryl, I just sat here and cried when I heard about Jim's passing. Our families were so close growing up and Jim and I were in family weddings and even a contest when we were little. He won for best boy - Mr. Eugene and I for the girl - Miss Eugene! We have just moved to Arizona and in doing so I was going through many old pictures. . . .and memories. Jim's Mom, Norma, and my Mom were best friends and they happened to be pregnant at the same time with all 4 of us. They each had a boy first, then a girl, then a boy. When I was born Norma was sure she would have another girl. . . .then came Jim. What a blessing he was to her. I'm sure both our Moms are rejoicing with Jim's entering Heaven as we will when it's our turn. For now we stand on this shore with tears saying 'there he goes'. But they are standing on the other side smiling and saying 'here he comes!' Being widowed myself I know what you are feeling and know I care. Hugs

I'm very sorry for your loss, sheryl. I remember Jim as a good kid in school.
Linda and I were not friends while in school. However, after this website began about 4 years ago she contacted me and thanked me for being kind to her in school. I found that very humbling and we became close friends since then. It saddens me greatly that Linda went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 21, 2016. She was such a wonderful Christian friend and I'll miss her.
