Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments:

Folks...I know the economy is tough right now and that cash flow can be tough. Do what you can to save up so you can attend the reunion! Click on the "reunion info" link to the left so get the PO box where you can send in your reunion registration payment. You also can fill in the on-line registration form off the same link.

School Story:

After highschool, I headed over the boarder into SC to USC. A few majors later, I settled into a Theater/Speech major and graduated in 1993. While in college, I got involved in a variety of activities that led me to my first job in Boston, MA with a non-profit organization called COOL. In 2 years with that organization, I lived in Boston, MA; Tempe, AZ; and Washington, DC. I then moved to Tallahassee, FL in 1995) to attend graduate school at FSU. I then moved to TX (worked at Texas Tech University), back to GA to work at Georgia Tech, then back to FSU. I recently (August 2008) re-located back to SC and am at my alma mater, USC. I work in student affairs...so all the clubs and organizations I was involved with IN high school were actually the start of what would be my vocation. So...it wasn't the geometry that was preparing me for my life...it was the French Club and being class president!

Along the way, I stayed in touch with wonderful HS friends (being in the band will do that...you make lifetime friends when you are in the band, even if you move away!) and made friends all over the country...how could I not...I've lived in a ton of places! While at Georgia Tech, I met Jim, a chef for the dining servcies operation. He and I married in 2003. We have 2 children and 2 fat house cats.

Of course...there are a ton of details that aren't in this little blurb, so you'll have to come to the reunion to learn more!

Do you plan to attend the reunion?

Yes

Which of your classmates is most likely to attend the reunion? Which of your classmates is most unlikely to attend?

most likely to attend: Tasha Helfer
least likely to attend: Shawn Riggenbach

who I hope will attend: the Young twins, Zane, Tommy Crawford, Pam, Molly, Jen, Ramon, Tuba-Bad, Heather, Kathy Jo, Alan Mann, Beth, GJ, Glenn, Buddy, Meredith, Allison...heck...i want everyone who can make it to attend I'm still an optimist (even after 20 years!), but I also know how it goes.

What "words of adult wisdom" do you have to offer your fellow classmates?

Be who you are, and YOU will be great!!

another favorite..."Everyone has their own way."

Who was your one high school teacher who actually taught you something that you've used as an adult? what was the important something that they taught you?

It was Ms. Psoinous (am I spelling that correctly?...can't remember all these years!).
It wasn't really a lesson, but more from her actions and spirit and support did I learn/realize that I could do anything I wanted to do.

My most embarrassing moment in high school was:

That whole thing with David Young...but it was not all that bad (in retrospect, but in 1988 it was the worst thing in the world).

The most trouble I got into in high school was:

anything having to do with springhouse hot tub. or summer romances. or the glennwood pool.
