Pat was killed in a car accident at a very young age when her daughter was only one year old. I was blessed to be able to meet her daughter when she was a teenager as her dad brought her to my house in California before she went to college. She had questions about her mom that I was able to answer as I was a close friend of Pat's in high school. Pat's daughter looks a lot like Pat.
I remember her very well and her older sister. I think their father was a minister or something like that. And when I had seen before this information that she had passed and made me sad because it made me realize we have to take one day at a time. And the way that she died is really sad.
I am so so sad to hear this. She was such a bright light. Her smile lit up the room. Yes, a day at a time. That is all we really have, and don't we realize this more and more each day.
I, too, have been stunned and saddened that Pat is no longer among us - and now, seeing she died so young and leaving a young daughter....We must live each day to the fullest and be grateful 💗
Patty, i remember meeting you in Mrs. Bauer's Oral Interp. class. You were so smart and so full of LIFE. And I remember our going to a production of the musical "Promises, Promises", at the Shubert Theatre, Downtown Chicago. I also remember going to that very good Italian restaurant with you--Villa Gergenti, on Paulina, in Chgo. News of your passing really affected me, as we had become good friends with a good deal in common. You were taken way too soon. May you rest in peace, dearest Pat.
