Jackie Rodgers Lee

I remained in Evergreen and have been married to Rufus for almost thirty-four years. We have worked hard and are blessed. Of course, all of our children are grown, two in Huntsville and one in Tallassee, finished college, and are working taking care of themselves. I don't have any grandchildren, but I'm looking forward to some.

I remember trying to smoke by the tennis court. We were laid out smoking one day and Denise Crosby thought that she was picking up a little broken off stick, but it was a dog's poo-poo! We laughed so hard we began to cry! I was a member of the first Flag Corp to be organized with the bands of Conecuh County which started in 1976.
