I started school at SCC Milford in January 1981 and graduated from the Electromechanical Technology program mid June 1982. I went to work for Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America at the plant North of Beatrice. We also had a satellite station near Syracuse, Nebraska and pipeline work through the years has taken me quite a few places though mostly in Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa.
In November 1987 I was married to Sherry and we divorced in 2001.
Son, Tyler attends Peru State College going into elementary education and playing Football with the Bobcats.
Daughter, Amanda attends Beatrice High School and likes to play softball and soccer.
Step Daughter Joeyann is in the U.S. Army at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and came back from deployment to Baghdad in June of 2010.
Stepson Jorden is a graduate of Doane College at Crete and is contemplating law school or further education.
Stepdaughter Jessamy is attending SCC Beatrice in Criminal Justice and is in the U.S. Army Reserve Military Police unit at Omaha.
In 2007 I applied for and got transferred to a new compressor station and brand new pipeline that parent company Kinder Morgan was building from Colorado and Wyoming to the East side of Ohio. After 25 years I was very much ready for a change, new equipment, new challenges and new people. Our new compressor station is near the stateline South of Diller. Our crew of three at this location maintain the compressor station and the pipeline from Hebron, Nebraska to Hiawatha, Kansas.
Julie and I have been together since 2001, but just recently tied the knot on June 5th 2010.
We enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, auctions and ging places in our motor home.
When time permits I like to tinker with mechanical things. mainly old tractors, mowers, skid loaders, my boat and camper.
Julie and I go to Country Stampede at Manhattan, Kansas every June where we meet up with the same friends year after year.
