What did you do right after high school?
Attended Nebraska Wesleyan University & Graduated 1984 BS. Art/Art Education. Taught for 2 years at Hebron JR/SR Public High - subjects Jr./Sr. Art, & 8th Grade English & then reduction in force shrunk position to part time. Decided to head to the Big City (Lincoln) for adventure. Worked reception for a meat wholesaler for a while, met TRUE LOVE in of all places a bar, married said love Glenn Dively in 1991. He is a Chemical/Environmental Engineer who was working for the State of Nebraska at the time. Did a stint designing the Yellow Pages for GTE Directories, then moved to Eldorado, Arkansas for husband's job opportunity. Lived there 4 years, had a daughter, Roxyn, in 1995. Another opportunity took us to Gulf Coast Alabama where we have lived for over 12 years. Man, do we have some hurricane stories! But we love it down here, the birthplace of Mardi Gras. The whole time I have also worked freelance as a monument artist, hand engraving illustrations on granite memorials. (Thank you Darcy!)
