Its been a long time coming, sometime i would love to have god next to me and ask him certain questions, one in particular why my favourite cousin had to die?, Babs died on the saturday prior to the monday she should have started teaching at Cornwall College.
I followed her one monday morning crying (because she told me to turn back) all the way from Crooked St. (where we all were living at the time) to Falmouth All Age School where she was teaching at the time, i ended up going to that school just to be where she was.
I was so devastated that i never attended the funeral which i am still sorry about till this day all i did was lockup in my bathroom and sobbed.
You have set the foundation for others in the family to follow now we have Lawyer, Doctor, Chartered Accountant, Architect and Entrepeneurs, Thanks! You would be proud of Das you even have a grandchild, i know you are smiling now rest well Babs, Rest Well!!
She was one of my favorite persons. Although I left Knibb School for Canada in 1974, I have always remembered Babs as she was affectionately called. She was always so neat and always wearing a "crisp" uniform. RIP my friend
