Doug Thompson & former wife Barb Deering-Lorsung are my first born daughter, Tina's, God parents.
Doug was one of my very best friends growing up in FF and he and I went thru many trials and tribulations together. (a few too many juvenile trails )
Doug was a loyal and great friend to everyone he touched in high school. His mother, his brothers and sister were like my own family. His brother Gene is still the best friend in my life. There isnt a time that I drive thru FF that I don't stop out to the cemetery and have long sit down talk with Doug and share a few tears.
I miss him as much today as I did 40 years ago. Rest in peace my friend.
