I know the reunion committee worked long and hard planning a very special weekend for our class.  Just want you to know that I am deeply grateful for this wonderful time to reconnect.  I would be glad to help in the future if there is anything I can do for you.  Fondly, Susan

Susan - you can BE the committee next time if you like!! HA

We had so much fun planning - and then seeing it come to fruition - except for the dancing thing - still upset that the "old fogies" didn't get out on the floor with us younger group......at least on "SURFIN' BIRD"....oh well - at least I had fun out on that dance floor - and still managed to visit!!

My son, Austin Felix, won the FWL National College Bass Championship for the University of Minnesota last spring which led to some wonderful opportunities.  If you are interested in bass fishing, he will be on the "Scott Martin Challenge" on NBC Sports at 12:30 this Friday.  It was filmed in the fall on Rainy Lake in Canada.

I previously wrote this, but it isn't showing up.?  Hope it doesn't come through twice!

In the Minneapolis Star Tribune today (January 30th) there is a letter to the editor that I submitted--"Tick-borne illnesses deserve better research and treatment"  I would appreciate it if you would read it regarding how Lyme disease and other tick borne illnesses unnecessarily become incurable and life threatening.

Nationally there is a bill before the Senate-- S.1503 Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Prevention, Education and Research Act of 2015, which is co-sponsored by Minnesota's Senator Amy Klobuchar and others.  I would appreciate your support in encouraging your senators to support it.  Imagine a world where people with tick-borne illnesses are diagnosed, treated correctly and go back to living their lives.  Thank you!!!

I saw your submission.... Glad you wrote that! As many of you know Terry Mikkelson is suffering the effects of Lymes..... We should all follow through with our representatives in Congress....

Jay Ellen and Linda, thank you for your support.  I realize now that I should have included a copy of the article to make it easier to read.

I am sorry to let you all know that I have received word that Tony Vollbrecht passed away on Thursday, February 4th.  He was visiting friends in Guatemala at the time of his death.  There will be no service per his wishes.  Interment will be on his farm north of Fergus.  -- Sandy (Fabian) Enstrom

Sandy: was there a cause of death? Do you have an address for Paul or Kathy to send a card?

Really sad to hear... Glad I had a talk with him at the 50th.
