Judy was a good friend all through high school.  We "girls" spent many evenings at her house getting ready for events - it was a lot handier, because she lived in town.  After high school and when she had finished college I lived with her for a short time in a house where there were 6 women sharing one bathroom.  That was always very interesting!!!  She was working (I can't remember where) until she earned enough money to travel to England - one of her dreams.  She then worked in England long enough to see the country and earn enough money to come back to the USA.  Another of her dreams was to live in Montana - so that's what she did.  It was there she met her husband and eventually moved back to Fergus Falls and she and her husband lived back on Broadway with her parents for a while. Some of us old friends were just getting back into her life again after all of her travels.  We had a gatheriing at Pinky's to meet her new husband. They had just moved to Minneapolis and lived here for a short time when she had her tragic/fatal car accident on the freeway by the U of M.  My parents called me and told of the accident because they didn't want me to hear it on the Minneapolis news.  It was a shock and yes it was on the news.  Her funeral was surreal - just back into our lives and then gone again!  Life is precious - we knew it then and we are finding out as we age - just how precious it is.  This is how I remember it - if anybody has any thing to add or a different memory - please share.
